Optimal Orthodontic Treatments For Your Oral Health Needs

At Cochran Orthodontics we understand that all of our patients are different, and they all require an age-appropriate and unique orthodontic treatment plan which helps them achieve their desired outcome.

Therefore, we offer a broad spectrum of orthodontic procedures, including affordable braces for children, teens, and adults. We personalize your treatment, and we aim to have our patients spend the least amount of time wearing braces.

Having braces doesn’t have to mean the traditional metal braces of the past. At Cochran Orthodontics, we offer several types of braces to fit the needs of all our patients, including clear and nearly-invisible braces.

Types of Braces Offered at Cochran Orthodontics

Traditional or metal braces

Metal braces have been the most popular option for braces. These types of braces have been used by countless of patients to correct common oral problems, such as crooked or misaligned teeth. Metal braces are made out of high-grade stainless steel, combining wires with brackets to align and straighten teeth. The technology of braces has advanced in leaps and bounds, and today’s braces are more comfortable, smaller and more attractive.

Metal braces are relatively easy to keep clean, though you must avoid eating certain things, such as tough,  sticky or chewy food. If you want to learn more about metal braces, for you or a family member, contact Cochran Orthodontics to receive an initial consultation.

SureSmile

As with traditional braces, SureSmile uses an archwire along with brackets on the teeth, but it is a more efficient and technologically advanced treatment method. Using 3D imaging, we create a model of your teeth’s realignment, along with a custom-made archwire, which realigns your teeth more efficiently and quicker than metal braces. Using this model, Dr. Cochran will plan the movement of your teeth, making your treatment more precise and efficient.

Invisalign

The Invisalign system uses a series of clear, almost transparent trays known as aligners. These aligners are created using 3D computer imaging to move and realign your teeth gradually. You will receive a series of aligners, each slightly different from each other which you will need to wear for around 20 hours a day, except when you’re eating, brushing or flushing.

One of the best advantages of the Invisalign treatment is that since the trays are practically invisible, no one will know you’re wearing braces. This benefit makes these braces a fantastic option for older teenagers and adults, or anyone that has a cosmetic concern for wearing braces.
